On January 22, a video titled “SOM-THING EP.12 | 2023 MAMA BEHIND & Merry Mungchis-mas (feat. I.O.I) V-log” was published on the official YouTube channel of soloist Jeon Somi.
Here, by the 15:42 time mark, Somi can be seen saying that she’s preparing for a Christmas dinner, as members from her former group, I.O.I, will be coming.
Im Nayoung and Kim Sejeong were the first to arrive, looking comfortable in their casual clothes and showing happy expressions. Later on, other I.O.I members, including Mina, Chungha, Doyeon, Yoojung, and Yeonjung also arrived to celebrate Christmas together.
Chungha, in particular, even prepared gifts for everyone and personally handed them out.
In the end, the members shared a heart-warming moment, talking together and eating a homemade meal prepared by Somi.
Additionally, I.O.I members who couldn’t show up in person also send heart-warming messages, which Somi included in her video.
All of these moments touched the hearts of fans, who felt emotional as they get to see I.O.I members maintaining a close relationship despite the group’s disbandment since early 2017.
