Recently, an article compiling the controversies of “I-LAND 2” contestants has become a trending topic on China’s most popular SNS platform Weibo.

In particular, this article mentioned the school violence allegation of contestant Kim Eunchae. Meanwhile, the center of the title song – contestant Choi Jungeun, was revealed to have committed theft alongside her older sister. 

Finally, contestant Kim Minsol was unveiled to be a relative of Kim Tae-song, the CEO of TS Entertainment – which is known to have stole money and imposed unfair contracts on various artists such as boy groups B.A.P and TRCNG, as well as girl groups Secret and Sonamoo. 

Additionally, the production crew of “I-LAND 2” has been accused of power-tripping and poorly treating competitors.

On the other hand, “I-LAND 2” is the 2nd season of the survival show “I-LAND”, which resulted in the debut of HYBE boy group ENHYPEN.
