“I feel sorry for actresses as they often have to hide their pregnant bellies”… Honey Lee reveals the reason she took a maternity photoshoot before her due date
Honey Lee (Lee Ha-nee) revealed her current situation before giving birth.
VOGUE KOREA uploaded a video titled “The reason why Honey Lee took a photoshoot during later weeks of pregnancy? Revealing the shooting set that day!” on their official Youtube channel on June 8th. The video briefly shows behind-the-scenes of Honey Lee’s maternity photoshoot.
In the pictorials previously released by Vogue Korea, Honey Lee wore a short-length top and revealed her D-line pregnant belly. Embracing her belly with the English word “joy” written on it, she gave off a cool and stylish atmosphere.
Regarding the reason she decided to take this meaningful photoshoot with Vogue Korea, Honey Lee said, “I feel so sorry for actresses because they often have to hide their bellies during pregnancy. I’m really happy about my pregnancy. It gave me great energy so I wanted to share it with others.”
Revealing that she didn’t receive prenatal care, Honey Lee added, “I think being happy is already a kind of prenatal care.” She shared, “I’ve been doing yoga and exercises I like every day. I felt satisfied and happy because I was filled with what I like.”
When asked about the image of a mother she wants to become for the baby, Honey Lee said, “A mother who is like a friend”, adding, “Although there will be times when you have to teach the baby to do and not to do something, I hope I can be a friend who supports what my child likes and enjoys in life under the general guidelines.”
Regarding the role she wants to play in her next project, Honey Lee said, “I’m really looking forward to becoming a mother so I want to play the role of a mother. I also want to do action scenes that will make my body feel itchy.”
She added, “The happiest moment to me is when I can feel Joy wriggling in my tummy. The energy that a little life gives is amazing”, adding, “I took this photoshoot to remember it as a page of my life rather than a work.”
Honey Lee married her non-celebrity husband in 2021 and she is expected to give birth in June.
