Celebrating her 16th debut anniversary, HyunA said, “Today is my 16th debut anniversary. I think I was not alone, and I learned how to overcome such things with my fans throughout the past 16 years”.

She confessed, “There were things I like and hate, happy and sad memories, but I’m the person who made them all”, adding “We have to accept that there are good things and bad things in life. After making a hit, it’s burdensome to make another one. I think after a successful song, there will be a failure but then success will come again. That’s how I protect myself. In that way, my family and fans won’t collapse.”

She added, “I’ve been listening to NewJeans songs a lot these days. Looking at them, I wonder if they are eating well. I’m worried that they won’t be able to eat enough because they have to wear crop tops. I wonder if they have time to sleep because I couldn’t sleep well during my debut days. The girls remind me of when I was young so I’m worried about them. NewJeans members, I hope you eat lots of Korean food and take vitamins. I hope you always have a person by your side to encourage you.”

Lastly, she shared, “New things and challenges are ‘FUN’ to me. I always like challenges and adventures.”

However, rumors of their reunion recently resurfaced but the female singer has not released any position on that.
