On December 26th, a video titled “A Lively Christmas Gathering of (Former?) Disney Actors” was uploaded to the YouTube channel Channel 15ya. The video featured Hyun Bin, Park Yong-woo, Woo Do-hwan, and Seo Eun-soo stars of the Disney+ series Made in Korea as they sat down to share various stories.

During the conversation, producer Na Young-seok asked Hyun Bin, “How old is your child now?” Hyun Bin replied, “He’s three years old 36 months. He talks really well. Of course, he doesn’t know difficult words yet, but he clearly expresses his opinions. He says things like ‘I don’t like this’ or ‘I like that.’ He sulks sometimes and gets excited at other times.”

When asked what his son likes, Hyun Bin shared, “He used to love motorcycles. When we went outside and saw delivery riders, he would greet them and say, ‘Hello.’” He continued, “That phase passed, and now we let him watch cartoons for about 10 minutes a day. He watches Tayo, and he’s especially obsessed with firefighting helicopters. He always carries around a small toy in his hand.”

Hearing this, Na Young-seok remarked, “This must be the cutest stage,” while Park Yong-woo added, “Your baby is incredibly good-looking. I saw photos, and he looks like a character straight out of a cartoon.” Seo Eun-soo agreed, saying, “He’s the prettiest baby I’ve ever seen.”

When Na Young-seok commented, “Putting good looks aside, isn’t this just the cutest age?” Hyun Bin smiled warmly and said, “He’s unbelievably adorable. If I don’t have work, I try to spend all my time with him.”

Park Yong-woo also shared an anecdote, saying, “Even on set, his love for his son is obvious. He stops by the convenience store near the lodging and looks at toys for his child.” When teased that he was trying to score points with his son, Hyun Bin admitted, “That’s right. I feel bad about being away. I want him to feel like, ‘When Dad goes to work, something small but nice comes back to me.’ Recently, I even bought him a Tayo airplane toy.”

Hyun Bin married actress Son Ye-jin in 2022, and the couple has one son.

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin stars in the Disney+ original series Made in Korea, set in South Korea during the turbulent yet ambitious 1970s.
