HYBE’s new girl group to debut via survival program “R U Next”, first teasers released 

The girl group survival program “R U Next”, which is set to premiere in June, draws attention with teaser posters and videos.

At 3PM (KST) on June 7th, JTBC’s survival program “R U Next?” revealed teaser posters and videos. The show, which will introduce the birth of HYBE’s next girl group, captured viewers’ curiosity with the participants’ appearances and slogans.

In particular, the teaser posters show the backs of participants running towards the same direction. They all wear refreshing uniforms, exuding a healthy and lively charm. With the slogans “BE THE ONE / BE THE ORANGE / BE THE NEXT” appearing in each poster, attention is focused on who will finally achieve their debut dream after overcoming 7 missions.

Meanwhile, the first teaser video of “R U Next?” captures the participants holding hands and running forward together. Utilizing vibrant orange colors, the video energetically announces the start of the participants’ journey to become “Global K-Pop Stars.” It hints at a bright and hopeful future that they will create even amidst fierce competition, as they race through vast nature. At the end of the video, the phrase “WHO IS NEXT?” is inserted, raising expectations for the birth of HYBE’s next girl group.

“R U Next?” is a program that determines the final members a next generation global girl group, to be managed by HYBE and CJ ENM’s joint venture label, Belift Lab. The participants, who dream of debut, undergo systematic training and prove their potential and star quality by passing through various missions.

“R U Next?” will be simultaneously broadcast on JTBC and Japan’s Abema TV on June 30th, and will be globally distributed through HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel. It can also be rewatched through platforms like Netflix.

Prior to the official broadcast, “R U Next?” has opened a Weverse community and plans to introduce a global voting system for the selection of the debut group, allowing viewers and fans from around the world to participate. Global voting will take place on Weverse.
