HYBE is hitting big with its 4th generation groups 

The fourth-generation artists of the HYBE’s labels continue their “career high” march in the first half of this year.

Starting with ENHYPEN‘s first full repackage album “DIMENSION: ANSWER” in January this year, fourth-generation artists of HYBE, including fromis_9, Le Sserafim, and TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), have released new songs one after another. Based on the first-half album chart released by Circle Chart (formerly Gaon Chart), a total of 3,107,347 albums released by the four groups in the first half of this year were sold.

The fandoms of TXT and ENHYPEN have become stronger. TXT’s third mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” ranked fifth in the Circle Chart with initial sales of 1,072,854 and cumulative sales of 1,650,263. TXT’s album won the title of “MILLION SELLER” its first week of release. Being a K-pop group which became a “million seller” with only initial sales, TXT proved to be a “fourth generation leader.”

ENHYPEN achieved a “half-million seller” with “DIMENSION: ANSWER”. The album ranked ninth on the Circle Chart with 762,823 copies sold. They topped the Oricon Daily Singles Chart for eight consecutive days with their second single in Japan, “DIMENSION: SENKO,” and set a new record of first place in a row.

HYBE girl groups also did well. fromis_9 has rapidly emerged as a group that is highly expected by breaking its own record in initial sales for two consecutive albums with its fourth mini album “Midnight Guest” and fifth mini album “from our Memento Box” released this year. They are so loved by the public that they have won five trophies in music programs as of July 11th with their title song “Stay This Way” from their latest album “from our Memento Box.”

LE SSERAFIM, who debuted in May this year, has also made noteworthy achievements. LE SSERAFIM’s debut album “FEARLESS” sold more than 300,000 copies in the first week of its release, the highest sales of K-pop girl groups’ debut album ever. They have consistently performed well with their digital sales. “FEARLESS,” the title track of the album with the same title, has remained at the top of the Melon weekly chart for five consecutive weeks, and has continued to be popular for nine consecutive weeks, charting in the U.S. Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.) chart.

Both HYBE’s fourth-generation boy groups and girl groups have made notable achievements, helping HYBE firmly establish itself as a K-pop giant.

Meanwhile, ENHYPEN’s third mini-album “MANIFESTO: DAY 1” released on July 4th achieved the “Million Seller” title on the 2nd day of its release, signaling a successful second-half of 2022 for HYBE’s Labels. In addition, a new girl group ambitiously prepared by HYBE will also release its first content on July 22nd.
