Hwasa and Lee Suhyun mentioned their big and small issues on “The Seasons: AKMU’s Five Nights”.

Singer Hwasa appeared as a guest on KBS 2TV’s music talk show “The Seasons: AKMU’s Five Nights” (hereinafter referred to as “Five Nights”), which aired on Sep 8th.

Hwasa said that she recently signed an exclusive contract with Psy’s company, P Nation. She shared, “When I was having a hard time due to controversies, Psy sent me a comeback song. He sent me a song called ‘I Love My Body’, and I wondered, ‘Why did he send me a song like this when I was facing so many issues?’ However, the song actually cheered me up and gave me positive energy. I felt like it stimulated the feelings that I had forgotten.”

Lee Suhyun also expressed her desire to delve deeper into the meaning of Hwasa’s music. Hwasa explained that “I Love My Body” is about self-love.

Despite the cheerful atmosphere on the show, both Hwasa and Lee Suhyun recently faced issues related to their bodies. Hwasa faced controversy due to a performance that was deemed too mature during her appearance on tvN’s variety show “Dancing Queens on the Road” last June. She has been addressing this issue on various broadcasts recently.

Lee Suhyun, on the other hand, revealed that she experienced a slump in 2021 and even confessed to having struggled with bulimia nervosa through her personal YouTube channel. Fortunately, she mentioned that she has made progress in overcoming the disorder and is using other hobbies to manage stress.
