Hwang Jung-eum Shed Tears After Completing “SNL” Performance
Actress Hwang Jung-eum touched viewers with her tears after presenting a passionate performance on “SNL”
Hwang Jung-eum appeared on Coupang Play’s comedy show “SNL Korea Season 5” broadcast on March 30th and poured all her effort into bringing laughter to viewers. The actress even summoned her ex-boyfriend SG Wannabe’s Kim Yong-joon. She completed a legendary episode with various skits and jokes.
In the first section, Hwang Jung-eum reminded viewers of when she was the leader of the popular girl group Sugar. Later she turned into a wedding planner who explained the bitter reality to a soon-to-be-married couple with a hilarious performance. Lastly, she became a new detective and showed a chilling yet sweet chemistry with Kim Won-hoon.
At the end of the show, Shin Dong-yeop said, “Actually, until Hwang Jung-eum could show up on this broadcast, the process was not easy at all. She kept worrying about what she could do when coming out here. She wondered whether many people would cheer for her and support her. I’m glad that it ended well”. In response, Hwang Jung-eum burst into tears as if she was so overwhelmed with emotions.
After completing a successful episode for this season, Hwang Jung-eum said, “I said I would let go of everything, but I was still worried a lot. Nevertheless, I was deeply moved by the fact that I was able to show you guys fun and comic acting with the support and encouragement from both the crew and many people”.
Her meaningful tears also touched the viewers. Everyone could sympathize with how much she had been struggling and cheer for her future activities as actress Hwang Jung-eum.
