Famous webtoon writer Annarae announced the news of her divorce and revealed her husband’s action.
On March 2nd, Annarae published a post on her Twitter account, saying, “I’m getting a divorce. My husband had an affair when I was struggling to battle cancer. The female side is a common woman.”
The webtoon writer then added, “I’m going to live alone in the future and I’m mentally and physically exhausted due to stress, and my daily life feels like collapsing”.
“I’d appreciate it if you could share even a little bit of sympathy”, she also said.
On the other hand, Annarae is a webtoon writer who published works such as “Behind Story”, “Second”, and “Eumpa Eumpa”. In 2021, she reported the news of her fight against cancer.
At the time, Annarae quietly announced, “I was diagnosed with cancer. I was living so hectic that I now have no choice but to take a break”, adding, “I never really lamented on why this happened to me, as I’ve led a lifestyle that deserves this. Let’s take out my cancer insurance”.
Due to Annarae’s battle with cancer, the second part of her webtoon “Incomplete” was delayed. However, in September of last year, she announced her return on the basis that she is recovering well.
