According to reports on April 10, Huang Yiming has been placed under court-imposed restrictions on luxury spending after defaulting on debts and ignoring repayment orders. The situation reportedly stems from her failure to settle financial obligations, leading authorities to take action due to her low “social credit” status.

The singer has since admitted during livestreams that she is facing severe financial hardship. She revealed that she is burdened with debt after being required to pay 1.2 million yuan in compensation to her management company. With limited job opportunities and the responsibility of raising her child alone, she has been unable to repay approximately 550,000 yuan.

In an effort to make ends meet, Huang Yiming has taken on long working hours at a supermarket clothing section, reportedly working up to 12 hours a day. Despite her efforts, she shared that her income remains insufficient to cover her debts and living expenses.
