How much do the “Avatar 2” cast members receive for their appearances?

The 2nd part of James Cameron’s megahit “Avatar” feature a lot of outstanding actors and actresses, and here’s how much they were paid. 

Sam Worthington, real name Samuel Henry John Worthington, is of Australian descent. His career sky-rocketed after starring in James Cameron’s megahit “Avatar”, and he recently returned to the franchise as his old character, Jake Sully, after 12 years. It is known that Sam Worthington received a 10 million USD paycheck for this appearance, alongside 5% of the movie’s net profit. 

Zoe Saldana, born in 1978, is an American actress known primarily for her participation in science-fiction projects. In fact, she has appeared in 3 out of 5 highest-grossing movies of all times, including “Avatar” (2009), “Avengers: Infinity War” (2018), and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019). In “Avatar 2” (Avatar: The Way of Water), Zoe Saldana continues playing the character Neytiri, the princess of the Omaticaya and wife of Jake Sully. This appearance has earned her roughly 8 million USD. 

Kate Winslet, who was born in 1975, is a famous English movie star. Known for her appearance in the classic movie “Titanic”, Kat has always been praised for her outstanding acting performances, as well as versatility. At the age of 22, she has received 2 Oscar nominations, and with “Avatar: The Way of Water”, she will be reuniting with Titanic director James Cameron. In this movie, Kate Winslet assumes the role of Ronal, wife of the Metkayina tribe’s chief. She reportedly takes home 6 million USD for this role. 

Sigourney Weaver is an American actress born in 1949. Now 73 years old, she still boasts stunning visuals and high dedication for acting. Across her career, the actress has received various accolades, including 2 Golden Globe Awards and a Grammy Award. Back in the first “Avatar” movie, she received 11 million USD for playing the late Dr. Grace, and with her appearance as Kiri in the 2nd movie, Sigourney is being paid 3.5 million USD. 

Stephen Lang is a veteran American actor born in 1952. He has participated in over 50 films throughout the years, and often play cold-hearted or villainous characters, with notable appearances in “Don’t Breathe” and “Tombstone”. In 2009, Stephan Lang transformed into Miles Quaritch, the main villain of “Avatar”, who died in the final battle. However, his character was resurrected into a Na’vi, and continued to threaten the major cast. He is taking home 2 million USD after the 2022 movie. 

New Zealand actor Cliff Curtis, who plays tribe chief Tonowari, gets a paycheck of 1 million USD. 

Guyana-descent actress CCH Pounder assumes the role of Mo’at, the queen of the Omaticaya tribe and mother of Neytiri.  Her salary amounts to 800,000 USD.

2000-born British actor Jamie Flatters sinh năm 2000 plays the role of Neteyam, the oldest son of Jake Sully and Neytiri. He is paid 600,000 USD for this appearance.

Born in 2001, American actor Britain Dalton earned 500,000 USD for playing Lo’ak, the second son of Jake Sully and Neytiri.

Joel David Moore, who is behind Dr. Norm Spellman in “Avatar: The Way of Water”, receives a paycheck of 500,000 USD.
