How long did it take for BLACKPINK members’ solo MVs to reach 100 million views?

With the popularity of BLACKPINK members, all solo MVs of them have surpassed the huge milestone of 100 million YouTube views.

After years of waiting, all BLACKPINK members have made their official solo debuts, accomplishing numerous impressive accomplishments along the way. With their immense popularity, it doesn’t take long for their solo MVs to achieve 100 million views on YouTube. 

In November 2018, Jennie became the first BLACKPINK member to go solo. It’s no exaggeration to say that the female idol had a dazzling start to her solo career.

Within two hours of its release, Jennie’s 1st solo single, “SOLO”, achieved an All Kill by placing first on all Korean charts. The “SOLO” MV also reached 100 million views in just 23 days and 10 hours after its release, proving its popularity. In addition, “SOLO” also secured music show wins, as well as prizes at prestigious music awards.

Following Jennie, in 2021, Rosé made her solo debut with the album “-R-” and the title track “On The Ground”. With beautiful visuals, vocals, and melodies,  Rosé’s solo release was showered in praise.
