Here’s how BLACKPINK, TWICE, and TXT, have their members’ phone numbers saved in their contacts.
The close friendship between members of a K-pop group can be shown through the fact that they share the same clothes, taking care of one another through caring and sweet gestures, or the way they save each other’s names in their phone contact lists. This may be minimal, but it actually says a lot about their dynamic.
BLACKPINK’s fans have always loved the friendship between the big sister Jisoo and maknae Lisa. In a 2018 TV show, Jisoo showed off her phone screen to the camera when she was calling Lisa. It could be seen that Jisoo saved Lisa in her contact list using the nickname Nallalisamang.
Although this sounds like a cute and unique nickname, Jisoo once came under controversy over it because “nallali” means delinquent and “samang” means death in Korean. Therefore, it caused a misunderstanding that Jisoo came up with a nickname that has a negative meaning for Lisa.
However, fans later explained that Nallalisamang is supposed to be understood as Nal-lalisa-mang. Specifically, Lalisa is Lisa’s real name, “nal” means monkey, “mang” means messing up. So the nickname is referring to Lisa being a mischievous and playful maknae.

How TWICE saves each other’s name in their phone contacts is also interesting. During a fansign, the 9 girls revealed the nicknames they used for their fellow members’ contact names. Nayeon saved Momo‘s name as Moguri in her old phone and has now changed it to just Momo with the lollipop emoji.

On a TV show, TXT’s Taehyun revealed how he bonded with other members since their trainee days by giving them nicknames on his phones’ contact list, “To feel closer, I gave each of them nicknames. I first met the members during my trainee days and these nicknames haven’t changed since then. Specifically, I save their contact names as The most handsome man in the world Big Hit Yeonjun Hyung, Cutie Big Hit Huening Kai, Handsome man Big Hit Soobin Hyung and Precious Big Hit Beomgyu Hyung”.
