Jin’s solo song ‘The Astronaut’ surpassed 100 million views on its MV and exceeded 300 million streams on Spotify, setting records and sparking discussions about Jin’s extraordinary efforts, one year after its release.
Renowned vocal trainer Kim Sung-eun caught the eye as she praised Jin in an interview on the YouTube channel ‘KOREA NOW.’
Kim Sung-eun, known for appearing as a vocal trainer on Mnet survival shows such as ‘Produce 101’ and ‘I-LAND,’ has coached numerous K-pop idols, including BTS, TWICE, and Sunmi.
During the interview, Kim Sung-eun highly praised Jin’s diligence, astonishing practice volume, and straight and proper mindset displayed during his training. Describing Jin as a ‘friend who goes step by step until the end,’ he referred to him as a ‘hard worker’ who continues to grow even after debut.
Kim Sung-eun revealed that she maintained contact with Jin even after debut, sharing that Jin, despite his busy schedule, sent songs he learned as a trainee and songs he was practicing.
The trainer expressed admiration for Jin’s professional mindset and relentless efforts, “After debuting and being so busy, when did he find the time to do this?“
