How big is BTS’s influence? The number of visitors to an art museum quadrupled thanks to BTS

These days, art museums are divided into places where RM has gone to and where he didn’t. 

RM power is great even in the art industry. Even related experts mention RM’s influence. SBS Power FM’s “Kim Young-chul’s Power FM,” which aired on Dec 15th, held a corner “Escape the Ignorance, Young-chul Show” with Professor Yang Jeong-moo of the Korea National University of Arts.

Professor Yang Jeong-moo, who cited BTS as the keyword of the day, said, “These days, art museums are divided into places where RM has been and where he has not been,” referring to Lee Ufan‘s “Wind” series.

“In June 2019, RM visited the “Lee Ufan Zone” at the annex of the Busan Museum of Art and left a message on the guest book, saying, ‘I’ve enjoyed it, teacher. I like ‘Wind’.” Professor Yang added, “According to the museum, the number of visitors has quadrupled since RM visited.”

In fact, RM, who is familiar with painting art, is known as a fan of painter Lee Ufan, deliberately visiting the exhibition of painter Lee’s works during his visit to the U.S.
