Movie director Hong Sang Soo and actress Kim Min Hee, who have been dating for 8 years, seem to be avoiding Korean events.
According to News1 and OSEN on March 28th, Hong Sang Soo and Kim Min Hee will not attend the press preview of the movie “in water”, which will be held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on April 3rd.
The movie “in water”, which is set to release on April 12th, was officially invited to the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival’s Encounters section last February, where it had its world premiere. At that time, Hong Sang Soo and Kim Min Hee attended the Berlin International Film Festival together, meeting the audience and discussing the film.
Before their visit to Berlin, they attended a retrospective of director Hong Sang Soo held at the Cinémathèque Française in Paris, France. At that time, the couple appeared in similar outfits, and after the event, they drew attention as they walked the streets of Paris, leaning on each other in affectionate poses.
