Actress Honey Lee is considering her return work after giving birth to her first baby.
DongA Dotcom exclusively reported on Nov 16th that Honey Lee is positively considering her appearance in the historical drama “Flower Blooming at Night” (literal title), which is under discussion on MBC’s broadcasting plan. According to reports, “Flower Blooming at Night” is a comical historical drama about the double life of a widow. This drama is reportedly the new work of director Jang Tae Yoo, who directed “Deep Rooted Tree,” “My Love from the Star,” and “Lovers of the Red Sky.”
Honey Lee won the grand prize in the comedy/romance mini-series category for the drama “Wonder Woman” at the SBS Drama Awards last year, and was recognized for both her acting ability and public recognition.
In May, she drew attention by revealing a unique pictorial at the end of week 36 of her pregnancy, ahead of childbirth. At the time, she said, “I was sorry to hear that some actresses wanted to hide their stomachs even during pregnancy. I am so happy during my pregnancy and I liked the energy, so I wanted to share it with the public,” explaining the reason for her photoshoot.
In the photos, Honey Lee proudly revealed her pregnant stomach by wearing a cropped T-shirt and low-rise . “I want to show that the woman’s body is so mysterious. At the same time, I want to show a new way that people have never seen before. I started from the stereotypes regarding this role. I’m talking about how pregnant women can wear what they want and consider themselves sexy,” she explained.
Honey Lee gave birth to her baby in June after marrying a non-celebrity in December last year.
