On August 31st, former LABOUM member Yulhee posted on her YouTube channel a video titled, “Ask me anything! Talk Talk!”. In the video, she answered the question, “What was the reaction of those around you when they found out you had a tattoo after marriage?”
First of all, Yulhee said, “I asked my husband after thinking about it for half a year, ‘Oppa, I want to get a tattoo, should I? Or not?’ and he said ‘Do it’. So I wanted to do it right away, but I haven’t found the spot I wanted and didn’t decide on a design. I wanted to do my own unique tattoo. It’s meaningless to do something that others get. In March of last year, I did it because I wanted to do it so much.”
She continued, “I searched a lot on Instagram and gave in the sketch of what I wanted. So my tattoo was born. I thought I could make it a little bigger than I originally thought, so I made it around 18cm.”
She added, “My mother-in-law also knew that I was going to get a tattoo. She said, ‘Do it prettily.’ But the moment she saw it for the first time, she’s like, ‘Your tattoo is bigger than I thought…?’ She also said the tattoo is pretty.”
This seems to be an anecdote that shows the cool side of Yulhee’s mother-in-law who respects her daughter-in-law’s personal taste.
Meanwhile, Yulhee married Choi Minhwan, a former member of group FT Island, in October 2018. The two have a son and two daughters together. Yulhee and Choi Minhwan are receiving a lot of attention and love by revealing their daily life and childcare by appearing on KBS2’s “Mr. House Husband 2”.
