Henry explained the recent controversy surrounding him and corrected the wrong part.
On the morning of March 21st, Monster Entertainment, the agency of singer-actor Henry, said, “Henry expressed his feelings directly through SNS, but we are sorry for the confusion caused by inaccurate spellings and unrefined expressions. He was so frustrated that he just wanted to resolve the misunderstandings first.”
They continued, “It is widely known that Henry grew up receiving education in Canada and has devoted all his life to music. Therefore, there are many areas that he is unfamiliar with and insufficient in. Nevertheless, he was able to communicate with fans by respecting everyone and carrying out activities around the world”, adding, “Being appointed as School Violence Prevention Ambassador and given the chance to be a part of that project, he considered this a very meaningful activity. However, we feel so sorry and heavy that unexpected misunderstandings and negative responses occurred in this process.”
Besides, the agency explained, “The suspicion of managing certain YouTube comments is a very malicious distortion. Since there are many contents that young people watch such as ‘Henry Together’ on the official YouTube channel, creating a healthy atmosphere has been our top priority. Therefore, regardless of the subject matter, all comments that are harmful to minors, malicious comments, slander, incitement and disturbance have been inevitably deleted and filtered by subscribers’ reports. Rumors circulating after being captured by intentional copy and paste are not true at all.”
