Heartbreaking words shared by an actor from Netflix’s upcoming drama “Goodbye Earth” starring Yoo Ah In
A supporting actor from Netflix’s drama “Goodbye Earth” starring Yoo Ah In expressed his frustration.
Actor Kim Young Woong recently expressed his frustration about the current situation of Netflix’s drama “Goodbye Earth” through his Instagram.
Netflix’s original drama “Goodbye Earth” is led by Yoo Ah In, and was scheduled to be released this year. “Goodbye Earth” depicts the story of a world in chaos with 200 days to go until an asteroid collides with Earth and people living out the remaining time. However, as Yoo Ah In is suspected of drug use, it has become unclear whether the drama will be released this year.
Kim Young Woong said, “How should I express it? The welcome phone call from the casting news and the heart-fluttering memories of the first filming are all about to disappear.”
He continued, “Above all, the numerous staff members who worked hard with patience and sacrifice, the actors who came together to shine through each character, and the director who was more eager than anyone else. The writer who did not give up even while fighting a disease. The production company that took care of the scene until the end. If his misbehavior is true, he is sure to be the target of criticism.”
He added, “I have no intention of defending him. Of course, there must be a price for him to pay. However, it is upsetting that ‘Goodbye Earth’, which was about to be born through the hard work and sacrifice of countless people, will not see the light of day.”
Yoo Ah In is accused of habitually using propofol at hospitals in Gangnam and Yongsan in Seoul since early 2021. In addition, he reportedly tested positive for tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the main component of hemp, in a simple drug appraisal test requested by the National Forensic Service on February 10th.
Afterwards, TV Chosun News 9 reported on March 1st that Yoo Ah In had taken a total of 4 different types of drugs including propofol, hemp, cocaine and ketamine. According to the media, Yoo Ah In will soon be summoned to the police.
