“Hangout With Yoo” will take a break for 3 weeks starting today (13th) after its WSG Wannabe Special is criticized as “boring”

“Hangout With Yoo” will take a break for the next three weeks.

MBC’s “Hangout with Yoo” recently announced, “After 3 years of running nonstop, ‘Hangout with Yoo’ would like to have some time to prepare for the days ahead for three weeks after the broadcast on August 6th.”

The production team added, “We will spend that time fruitfully discuss about recruiting new members and various other special contents.”

Following this, “Hangout with Yoo” will be replaced by special broadcasts for 3 weeks. At 6:25 p.m. today (Aug 13th), WSG Wannabe Director’s Cut will be aired as a summer special.

“Hangout with Yoo” has been proving how hot it is with ratings exceeding 7%. However, the WSG Wannabe Special, which began more than three months ago, was somewhat unnecessarily prolonged. Many viewers criticized it as “boring,” and accordingly, the show’s ratings fell slightly.

As the ratings continued to decline, even the episode on July 30th, which featured the long-awaited concert stage that finished the WSG Wannabe’s project, recorded the lowest ratings.

Can ‘Hangout with Yoo”’ turn this harsh public opinion around and come back by filling in the parts that viewers seek?
