Han So-hee “Refute malicious comments from Japanese netizens? What can I do if it’s the truth?”

Actress Han So-hee met SpoTV News for an interview at a cafe in Gahoe-dong, Seoul at 1 PM on Jan 15th, where she shared various stories about Netflix’s series “Gyeongseong Creature”.

Previously, Han So-hee faced malicious comments when she uploaded several still cuts of “Gyeongseong Creature” and a photo of Korean independence activist Ahn Jung-geun on her Instagram.

Some Japanese haters complained, “She’s against Japan”, “She didn’t take into account the feelings of Japanese people”, “I’m disappointed”, etc. In response to a comment saying “I want to watch the drama but as a Japanese, I need to take courage”, Han So-hee replied, “Sad but true. Thank you for your courage anyway.”

When asked “Don’t you care about your popularity in Japan?“, Han So-hee responded, “Yes. It’s not like we’ve never had historical dramas like this in Korea before.”

She confessed, “I upload on my personal Instagram without calculating the impact. Still, what can I do if it’s the truth? I’m grateful for your opinion, but this is my opinion. If you say it’s not, you can think it’s not. It’s about respecting the opinions of people who have been together on social media or in society. That’s what I’m saying.”
