Han So Hee injured her face and was taken to the emergency room while filming “Gyeongseong Creature” 

Han So Hee suffered a facial injury while filming an action scene.

As reported by Sports Chosun on August 3rd, according to an entertainment industry official, Han So Hee suffered an injury to her face during the filming of the drama “Gyeongseong Creature”. She was immediately taken to the emergency room. Han So Hee reportedly injured her face while filming a high-level action scene in “Gyeongseong Creature”. She had an eye injury, so there is a possibility that a surgery may take place. 

“Gyeongseong Creature” is an action thriller set in the darkest era of spring 1945, in which two young people confront a frightful creature born out of greed and fight for survival. Han So Hee particularly has plenty of action sequences in the drama because she plays a protagonist who fights fiercely on the borderline between life and death.

Since the filming for more than half of the drama includes action scenes, the risk of injury was high. Due to Han So Hee’s injury, filming has inevitably been suspended and is expected to resume once Han So Hee recovers.

“Gyeongseong Creature” has drawn expectations since it was introduced as Han So Hee and Park Seo Joon were confirmed as leads. Writer Kang Eun Kyung, who penned hit series such as “Dr. Romantic” and “Stove League”, and director Jung Dong Yun take charge of this new project. “Gyeongseong Creature” is expected to be released in 2023.
