Han So-hee Deleted Comment On “Ryu Jun-yeol’s Break-up Was Reported In June” After Lying Suspicions

On March 16, Han So-hee officially admitted to dating Ryu Jun-yeol, but denied the “transit love” accusations on her blog.

After Han So-hee‘s post was made, numerous comments poured in from Internet users. Amid mixed messages supporting Han So-hee and pointing out her lack of maturity, Han expressed her honest feelings by leaving comments such as “I think my attitude was rash,” “This time, my fault is big,” and “I made a small thing big.”

Regarding Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri’s break-up, she wrote on her blog, “I heard that the breakup was completed in early 2023, and the articles about their break-up came out in November. Based on this fact, I confirmed my feelings and continued the relationship.”

Many Internet users pointed out that it is rude for a third party, Han So-hee, to reveal the timing of Ryu Jun-yeol’s breakup. Han So-hee wrote in the comments, “I didn’t hear about it in private, I wrote it in summary based on an article in June last year. If it’s rude, I will delete it. It was proof that it was not a transit love situation, but I also think that was rude.”

However, netizens pointed out there was no report of Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri’s separation in June last year, which Han So-hee mentioned. The only article about them that came out in June last year was that Hyeri’s remarks on a show, saying, “Sometimes I don’t get any KakaoTalk messages a day,” which at the time raised suspicions about her relationship with long-time boyfriend Ryu Jun-yeol. Media outlet News1 even revealed that they contacted Ryu and Hyeri’s companies in August last year to ask about the break-up and both sides denied it. It wasn’t until November that their break-up became official. As the controversy grew, Han So-hee deleted the comment.

Regarding this, Internet users left comments such as, “There was never an article about them breaking up in June last year,” “I thought Ryu Jun-yeol personally told her he broke up with Hyeri early last year,” “Shouldn’t you ask your boyfriend when he broke up?” and “If they didn’t break up in early 2023, Hyeri must have felt betrayed.” On the other hand, other Internet users are defending Han So-hee by leaving comments such as, “Let’s not push her too hard because it’s not a transit,” and “She may have been confused.”
