Han Ji-min will work with Lee Joon-hyuk in her upcoming drama “Between Greetings”. She said, “I’m a CEO in that show. It’s my first time playing that role. As you know, TV show trends change over time. The male character used to be rich while the female character was the strong-willed one, right? Because of that, none of my characters wore nice outfits”, adding “Also, the male characters were always older. But at some point, the tables have turned, and now older heroines dating younger men are the new trend. So now, most of the male leads are younger than me”.

In “The Light in Your Eyes”, Han Ji-min is 12 years younger than her co-star Nam Joo-hyuk. She’s 6 years older than Jung Hae-in (“One Spring Night”), 7 years older than Kim Woo-bin (“Our Blues”) and 3 years older than Lee Min-ki (“Behind Your Touch”).

She continued, “The female characters in dramas have now changed from the past. They are more progressive and take a more proactive role. That’s why I get to play a female CEO”.

The staff commented, “I think when it comes to you, not only your fans, but most people expect romance”. In response, Han Ji-min said, “The thing I loved about ‘Behind Your Touch’ was the absence of romance. We only found out once we saw the end result. It was more like pretending not to care, and I was startled. We even said to the director, ‘We don’t recall any romance in the script’. The director first promised to make me a romantic comedy queen, but I felt it was only comedy”.She continued, “I love works with a distinct genre, and this only had a touch of romance in it. Of course, there’s a difference between people when they’re in love and when they’re not. But personally, I didn’t like romance being mixed into this drama because it often seemed to make the characters lose their authenticity”, adding “But the show I’m about to film is more like a workplace romance”.
