At her first Korean fan meeting, actress Han Ji-min meticulously prepared gifts for 200 fans and paid for them herself
On November 5th, Han Ji-min‘s first domestic fan meeting, “2023 Han Ji-min ‘A Mean-ingful Day”, was held. Here, as soon as they entered, fans received a welcome gift prepared personally by Han Ji-min, which includes a calendar, a handwritten letter, and a photo card, as well as a set of cosmetics, cookies, and drinks.
Inside the venue of the fan meeting, there were various attractions available, including a photo booth where fans could take pictures against the backdrop of Han Ji-min’s frame.
At the fan meeting, which was held on Han Ji-min’s birthday, MC Jaejae prepared a cake and appeared, singing a congratulatory song with the fans. Seeing this, Han Ji-min, who is celebrating her 20th debut anniversary this year, expressed her gratitude by saying, “It feels like a dream”.
The fan-meeting also included a segment called “A Mean-ingful Profile”, where Han Ji-min shared various stories about herself and engaged in close communication with fans as well as made eye contact.
Next, Han Ji-min boasted her beautiful voice by singing meaningful songs addressed to fans, followed by a segment called “A Mean-ingful Tea Time”, where she shared stories about previous works, from the 2005 series “Resurrection” to her latest drama “Behind Your Touch”.

In addition, the event was filled with stories from fans who love Han Ji-min’s works, the actress added commentary to each tale. The fans whose stories were selected received scarves personally chosen and prepared by Han Ji-min. She even remembered the names of the selected fans and responded with a shout-out, demonstrating her genuine connection with her fans. Actress Lee Jung-eun and director Kim Seok-yoon, who previously worked with Han Ji-min, also sent a surprise video message showing their affections.
Then, a video that captures Han Ji-min’s meticulous gift selection, including her struggles, was played. The video showed Han Ji-min’s excitement as she personally packaged 200 sets of goods and prepared for her meeting with fans.
It is known that in the final segment “A Mean-ingful Party”, Han Ji-min presented home care beauty devices, which she endorses as a model, as gifts to five fans.
After completing all the segments, Han Ji-min photographed each attendee individually with Polaroid photos. She presented fans with small bouquets of Korean wildflowers that are fitting for autumn. Particularly, all the gifts and the expenses for the two fan meeting sessions were fully funded by Han Ji-min’s personal savings, providing a special moment that was a “gift in itself.”
Meanwhile, on November 18, Han Ji-min will present the documentary “The Whale and I” (literal translation), in which she participated as a narrator.
