On the afternoon of January 12th, the press conference for movie “The Pirates: Goblin Flag” (directed by Kim Jeong-hoon) was held at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Actors Han Hyo-joo, Kang Ha-neul, Lee Kwang-soo, Kwon Sang-woo, Chase Soo-bin, Kim Sung-oh, Park Ji-hwan, EXO Sehun, and director Kim Jeong-hoon attended the event.

Unlike the 2014 film “The Pirates”, “The Pirates: Goblin Flag”  tells about adventures of pirates who gather in the sea and search for the royal treasures that have disappeared without leaving any trace. Han Hyo-joo plays the role of Hae-rang, owner of pirate ship that conquers the sea, and shows off a girl crush vibe.

In particular, after taking action training for 3 months to play Hae-rang, who has great leadership and admirable martial arts skills, Han Hyo-joo did all the action scenes herself, showing her great passion. The actress honestly shared, “I couldn’t get the water out of my eyes, nose and ears until the next day. However, it was still a great experience”.
