On October 2, a new video titled “Han Ga In’s Big Gift to Her Retired High School Teacher (Heartwarming Reaction!)” was uploaded to her YouTube channel.
In the clip, Han Ga In personally brought out her old graduation albums to look back on her school days. The photos showed her wearing glasses throughout elementary and middle school. “My eyesight was really bad. I always wore glasses, but since I didn’t know how the graduation album would be used, I decided to take them off for the photos,” she explained.
One middle school picture showed her wearing an oversized uniform. “I never shortened my school skirt—I wasn’t that kind of student,” Han Ga In recalled. “In high school, I received many perfect attendance and model student awards. I even ranked first in the standing long jump at school. I ran the 100 meters in 16 seconds. I was really athletic—always flying around.”
She also reminisced about how she was cast as an actress during high school after appearing on the news. “It wasn’t planned—the news team came to interview, and my friends pushed me forward because they said I was pretty. At the time, I never thought of myself as good-looking. Still, I decided to take off my glasses for the shoot, just in case. If I had worn them, it might have become a regretful memory.”
Later, Han Ga In visited her former homeroom teacher, bringing along a refrigerator and washing machine from the brand she currently models for as gifts. Her teacher shared, “People always ask me if she had plastic surgery when I say I was her homeroom teacher. I tell them, if she did it before I knew her, I wouldn’t know, but as far as I know, she’s always been the same.” He also recalled seeing male students chase after her, but noted that Han Ga In calmly handled the situation before telling him, “Let’s go, teacher.”
