Actress and former T-ara member Ham Eun-jung’s past interview about her thoughts on marriage and family has resurfaced following her recent wedding announcement to film director Kim Byung-woo.
In a KBS2 “The Queen’s House” wrap-up interview conducted on September 20, Ham Eun-jung candidly shared, “I think I should get married before I turn forty.”

She explained, “Marriage has always been a dream keyword for me. While balancing T-ara activities and acting, I didn’t really feel my age, but since last year, I’ve started to think seriously about marriage.” The actress added that she hoped to “get married and have children before forty,” which has now drawn attention to the couple’s plans for children.
On October 16, Ham Eun-jung personally shared her wedding announcement through her official account, revealing that she would marry on the last day of November.
“After losing my mother a year ago, who I thought would always be by my side, I wanted to build a warm and bright family like hers,” she wrote. “I decided to start a new chapter with someone who understands and respects my work more than anyone else and who has quietly supported me through difficult times. I’ll live diligently and beautifully.”
She added, “I will always remain as T-ara’s Ham Eun-jung and an actress who repays the love of my fans.”

Debuting with T-ara in 2009, Ham Eun-jung rose to fame through hit songs like “Bo Peep Bo Peep,” “Crazy Because of You,” and “Roly Poly.” She later transitioned into acting, starring in films such as “White: The Melody of the Curse,” “Shadow Confession,” and “I Will Song.”
Most recently, she played Kang Jae-in in the KBS2 drama “The Queen’s House.” Ham Eun-jung will next appear in the MBC daily drama “The First Man,” set to premiere in December 2025, where she will co-star alongside actress Oh Hyun-kyung.
