Gummy Talks About Parenting, “Daughter Resembles Husband Jo Jung-suk, I Sing More Children’s Songs”

Singer Gummy revealed stories about her marriage life with actor Jo Jung-suk

Gummy guested on the October 28th broadcast of JTBC’s “Newsroom”. That day, she said, “It’s been a long time since I did a broadcast like this. I’ve been focusing more on raising my child than broadcasting activities these days.”

Gummy then confessed, “The baby resembles her father (Jo Jung-suk) so much. As time goes by, she becomes more like her father, in terms of characteristics and personality”.

Revealing that she has been singing children’s songs more often than normal songs, Gummy said, “I sing children’s songs more often these days. My daughter keeps asking me to sing ‘Dotori’ because it suits the season. I really sing it in the children’s song tone. She doesn’t like it if I sing in my normal tone”.

She added, “The lyrics of children’s songs are very profound. Many people have actually taken inspiration from children’s songs”.

Later, the anchor said, “Gummy’s latest concert became a hot topic as Jo Jung-suk made a guest appearance”, and asked, “Will we be able to see Jo Jung-suk at your next concert?”. In response, Gummy said, “We actually discussed it half in jest, half in earnest. What if people think, ‘If a guest is coming to Gummy’s concert, that would definitely be Jo Jung-suk’? We have not yet decided anything specifically”.
