GOT7’s BamBam, MOMOLAND’s Yeonwoo, SNSD’s Sunny And More: Stars Who Don’t Want To Get Married

These stars have revealed their plans to not get married

Model Jung Hyuk, who appeared on the latest episode of KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show,” which aired on November 8th, expressed his belief in non-marriageism.

DJ Park Myung-soo asked Jung Hyuk, “Are you still non-marriageist?” and Jung Hyuk replied, “It still remains the same now,” and added, “As time goes by, my belief in non-marriage is gradually becoming solid.” He revealed “People started to agree with me these days. I think I’m an icon of non-marriageism. There are still so many things I want to do,” he explained. Earlier, Jung Hyuk said through magazines and on various broadcasts that he was a non-maritalist. 

Sunny, a member of the group Girls’ Generation, has also long been known for her plan to not get married. Sunny said on one episode of Mnet’s “TMI NEWS” in 2021, “I talked about not getting married on a show at the age of 19,” adding, “I still intend to stick to non-maritalism.” Sunny also clarified her non-marriage declaration, saying, “I haven’t thought about marriage yet.”

Singer BamBam, a member of the group GOT7, also said on SBS’ “Master in the House” in January, “I don’t want anyone to take my life away. I want to be happy alone and I don’t want to live having to mind someone’s feelings,” he said, expressing his firm belief.

“My eldest brother recently got married,” said BamBam, who solidified his non-marriageism when he saw his older brother. “He says he is happy. He also has a child about three years old. He came to Korea three months ago. I felt sorry for him when I saw his face for the first time in a while. Should I say he got old quickly?” he recalled.

Actress Yeonwoo, a former member of the group Momoland, appeared on JTBC’s “Knowing Brothers” in 2018 and announced that she was a non-marriageist. In the show, Yeonwoo wrote down her future dream as a “rich unemployed.” She shared, “When I was young, my dream was to be a daughter of a chaebol. But my dad’s work was not successful.”

In response, the cast of “Knowing Brothers” suggested that she could make her children into the second generation of chaebols, and Yeonwoo said, “I’m a non-mariageist. I really like being alone. I want to be the one to spend my own money.”

In addition, singer HA:TFELT, a former member of the group Wonder Girls, also appeared on MBN’s “Flying Girl” and said, “I don’t want to meet someone for marriage and change my life,” revealing that her priority in life is herself.
