13 years ago, the iconic K-drama “Boys Over Flowers” was released and became a massive hit across Asia, bringing its two leading actors Lee Min Ho and Goo Hye Sun their first breakout roles. Goo Hye Sun played Geum Jan Di, a poor but kindhearted and fierce high school girl who caught the eye of the rich and arrogant chaebol son Goo Joon Pyo (Lee Min Ho)

When she transformed into a high schooler in “Boys Over Flowers”, Goo Hye Sun was actually in her mid-20s. However, her youthful, refreshing visuals and cute acting made her portrayal of a bubbly and innocent student absolutely convincing.

Now that she is in her late 30s, Goo Hye Sun proves that she has not aged a day since “Boys Over Flowers”. Looking at the behind-the-scenes photos taken at a shooting site that Goo Hye Sun recently posted on her Instagram, netizens are impressed by how young and beautiful she looks. In particular, her trademark flawless “vampire” fair skin draws much admiration.

Goo Hye Sun’s current career

After “Boys Over Flowers”, Goo Hye Sun became a sought-after K-drama star in the industry. But the last time we saw her on the screen acting was in You are too much released in 2017.

However, Goo Hye Sun is still attached to the filming sets, but as a writer and director. Some of her works in this role you can check out are Daughter (2014) and Love Story Under the Cherry Tree (2012). Last year, she also personally wrote and directed the short film Dark Yellow.
