On June 29, Goo Hye Sun shared several photos on her social media account, writing, “Our trademark registration has been completed, and the product is now available at duty-free stores.”
The uploaded images included her official trademark registration certificate along with screenshots confirming the product’s launch on an online duty-free shopping platform.
Goo has been actively promoting the hair rollers she developed herself. Designed to improve on traditional models, the product focuses on portability by eliminating the bulky plastic cylinder found in conventional rollers. Instead, only a minimal amount of plastic is used alongside the Velcro material, making the rollers lighter and easier to carry.
Although the hair rollers previously sparked debate over their relatively high price tag—selling for around 10,000 won—the product quickly sold out after its release, attracting significant attention from consumers.

Beyond acting, Goo Hye Sun has also built an impressive academic career. After graduating from Sungkyunkwan University, she enrolled at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where she recently completed her master’s program in science journalism ahead of schedule.
Goo first gained public recognition through the MBC sitcom Nonstop 5, which premiered in 2004. She later rose to stardom with leading roles in popular dramas including Boys Over Flowers, Take Care of Us, Captain, Angel Eyes, and Blood.
