On August 8, KBS 2TV’s Heart on Wheels aired its final episode, closing with heartfelt farewells and candid talks among the cast. Yet, the spotlight quickly shifted online when actress Goo Hye-sun posted a striking message that many interpreted as directed at her ex-husband Ahn Jae-hyun, a main cast member of the show.
During the episode, Lee Min-jung, a married mother of two, gifted Ahn Jae-hyun both men’s and women’s fragrances, expressing hopes for his new romance. Ending her post, she wrote, “I hope my ex-spouse thrives with his own identity and sincerity, not by using me as a subject. No one in this world has the right to ridicule me for entertainment.”
Goo Hye-sun and Ahn Jae-hyun married in 2016 and divorced in 2020 after a turbulent public dispute, including accusations and legal battles. Despite years passing, their names remain tied to the term “divorce” due to their high-profile marriage and appearances on tvN’s Newlyweds Diary.
