“Love Fiction” couple Gong Hyo-jin and Ha Jung-woo were once involved in a dating rumor due to their amazing chemistry.

Amid the filming process of “Love Fiction” in 2012, rumors of a romantic relationship between actor Ha Jung-woo and actress Gong Hyo-jin, who played the main characters in the movie, broke out. Dating rumors arose because the two were so close to each other and their chemistry was also so good. What attracted keen attention was that each of them was actually in a relationship with someone else at that time.

In an interview for “Love Fiction”, Gong Hyo-jin mentioned the dating rumor, saying “What an interesting gossip topic. I didn’t deny it because it might help the movie’s promotion”, revealing that she took advantage of the rumors that were raised out of a sudden.

At the press conference for the documentary film “577 Project”, which was made to fulfill the promise of “Love Fiction” success, Ha Jung-woo also expressed his thoughts on the dating rumor with Gong Hyo-jin. The actor drew attention as he said, “Ethically speaking, the rumor doesn’t make sense at all”.

In fact, the romantic relationship between Ha Jung-woo and Gong Hyo-jin is something that could never happen. After completing the filming of “Love Fiction”, Ha Jung-woo was discussing starring in the film “The Berlin File” by director Ryu Seung-wan together with the director’s brother – actor Ryu Seung-beom, who was actually Gong Hyo-jin’s boyfriend at that time.
