Amid the filming process of “Love Fiction” in 2012, rumors of a romantic relationship between actor Ha Jung-woo and actress Gong Hyo-jin, who played the main characters in the movie, broke out. Dating rumors arose because the two were so close to each other and their chemistry was also so good. In an interview for “Love Fiction”, Gong Hyo-jin mentioned the dating rumor, saying “What an interesting gossip topic. I didn’t deny it because it might help the movie’s promotion”, revealing that she took advantage of the rumors that were raised out of a sudden.
At the press conference for the documentary film “577 Project”, which was made to fulfill the promise of “Love Fiction” success, Ha Jung-woo also expressed his thoughts on the dating rumor with Gong Hyo-jin.
