According to SPOTV News on January 25th, Gong Hyo-jin and Park So-dam will appear in the movie ‘Gyeongju Journey’ (literal titls) directed by Kim Mi-jo.
‘Gyeongju Journey’ is a revenge movie where a mother, who lost her youngest daughter, sets out with her three daughters to seek revenge when she hears that the perpetrator has been released, traveling to Gyeongju where he lives.
With Gong Hyo-jin already announced for the cast, the news of Park So-dam joining as sisters raises expectations for the first film appearance of the two in a mother-daughter revenge drama.
Park So-dam recently showcased her talents in the drama ‘Death’s Game.’ After the movie ‘Phantom’ in the first half of last year, she will meet the audience again through this film. Gong Hyo-jin, after marrying Kevin Oh in 2022, makes her first big screen comeback.
‘Gyeongju Journey’ is directed by Kim Mi-jo, who made an impressive debut with ‘Seagull.’ Kim Mi-jo received acclaim domestically and internationally, winning the Korean competition award at the 21st Jeonju International Film Festival in 2020 and the TVE Another Look Special Mention at the 68th San Sebastián International Film Festival.
