Golden Child Son Young-taek (24 years old, TAG) is reported to be in a critical condition due to acute liver failure.
According to Son’s side, he was admitted to Gangnam Severance Hospital with symptoms of acute liver failure on the afternoon of May 18th.
Son, who is type RH+ O, is currently hospitalized in the intensive care unit and is known to be in urgent need of a liver transplant.
Son is a member of Golden Child, which debuted in 2017. He is a singer with 6 years of experience as well as the main rapper of the group.
Update: On May 18th, his agency Woollim Entertainment told SPOTV News, “TAG is not in critical condition at all right now.”
However, the agency shared, “Due to his recent poor condition, he went to the hospital this morning and finished various tests. He is waiting for the results.”
