According to a report by MyDaily on February 3, Go Youn-jung and Kim Do-hoon will join the cast of MBC’s upcoming entertainment show Manito Club.
Manito Club is an undercover gift-giving variety show built around the concept of people who know how to share two when they receive one. The cast members are randomly assigned secret “manito” partners and must deliver gifts while hiding their identities until the very end. With appearances already announced for BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Dex, Choo Sung-hoon, Noh Hong-chul, and Lee Soo-ji, Go Youn-jung and Kim Do-hoon will join the program as surprise hidden cards, adding an extra layer of intrigue.
The show is drawing attention as a new challenge for some of the hottest stars of the moment. Go Youn-jung recently received praise for creating a career-defining role as global top star Cha Mu-hee in the Netflix series Can This Love Be Translated?. Not only within the drama but also in real life, she is gaining international recognition and solidifying her status as a rising global star.
Kim Do-hoon, meanwhile, proved his wide acting range through the TVING original series Dear X, earning strong support from viewers both in Korea and abroad. He further cemented his position as a rising star by winning the Excellence Award in the Melodrama category at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards for his role in Love Scout.
As Go Youn-jung and Kim Do-hoon step beyond acting to take on a variety show together, anticipation is growing over what new charms they will reveal on Manito Club. The program airs every Sunday at 6:10 p.m. on MBC.
