The spinoff of “Hospital Playlist” series is in production
On September 20th, PD Shin Won Ho and screenwriter Lee Woo Jung, who created the “Reply” and “Hospital Playlist” series, will participate in the new drama “Wise Residents’ Life” (literal title) as creators. Planned as a spinoff of “Hospital Playlist”, this drama depicts the life and friendship stories of university hospital professors and residents.
PD Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung, who have consistently delivered impactful stories with resonant narratives, well-made wit and humor, as well as unique touching moments in their previous, will expand their roles as creators. Therefore, viewers are looking forward to the new fun and emotions the two will bring through this new series. In addition, director Lee Min Soo of “Stain” and “Let’s Meet in an Unfamiliar Season”, and writer Kim Song Hee, who worked as an assistant writer for “Reply 1988” and “Hospital Playlist”, also joined the production team, further raising fans’ expectations.
In particular, the project is arousing keen attention with the confirmation of Go Yoon Jung’s appearance. Go Yoon Jung is reportedly transforming into an OB-GYN first-year resident at Yulje Hospital Jongno and challenging her first doctor role.
“Hospital Playlist” spinoff will tell the real stories of OB-GYN doctors working while moving back and forth between Yulje Main Hospital and Yulje Hospital in Jongno. Fans of the “Hospital Playlist” series are waiting to see the hospital life of novice doctors, who will draw sympathy with the first experience at workplaces that everyone has. Amidst the harsh training process, the stories of free-spirited young people and their journey to grow as doctors will also unfold and give inspiration to viewers.
