Mom’s Kimbap Recipe Revealed,” posted on her channel Go Joon Hee GO on October 27, the actress cooked with her parents while sharing family stories.
When the production team asked Go Joon Hee about the secret behind her impressive height, her father chimed in, saying she drank a lot of milk as a child. Her mother confirmed, “She drank milk like water.” Go Joon Hee added, “I was tall from birth. My dad is also tall,” attributing her physique to her genetics.
Her father then described her physical features, saying, “Her body type takes after me, but her face is more like her mother’s.” The most striking moment came when the production team asked whether he ever thought his daughter was truly beautiful. Without hesitation, he recalled, “When she said she wanted to be a celebrity in her first year of high school, I told her she didn’t seem to have the talent for it.”
Go Joon Hee recounted her father’s remark: “He told me I didn’t have a celebrity face. He’d seen a lot of celebrities on airplanes and said their hair texture alone was different. He said, ‘Of course you’re pretty because you’re my daughter, but not enough to be a celebrity.’”
