Short‑form platform TikTok held its TikTok Awards 2025 at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on October 25. Over 500 creators and roughly 2,500 fans filled the venue to celebrate the growing culture of short‑form content. With official voting and live streaming, the second annual ceremony outdid its inaugural event in scale and energy, solidifying its role as an annual creator‑centric festival.

On the red carpet and throughout the ceremony, 20 awards spanning creator and artist categories were handed out. The highest honor Creator of the Year went to Amy, whose early‑morning “3‑a.m. hwachae (fruit salad) mukbang” video accrued over 50 million views and sparked global trend waves. Amy was honored for her range of content across beauty, eating broadcasts, and fashion, and for emerging as a Korean creator with a global reach.
Other major winners included: Video of the Year to si-ne (for stylish beauty editing), Ambassador of the Year to Baek Dong‑uk (for bold global activations), Lifestyle Creator of the Year to Ring Ring Unni (for her gemstone‑appraisal concept), Rising Creator of the Year to Clip Naram (for immersive food content), Entertainment Creator of the Year (newly added) to Liry Onni (for introducing K‑culture to Spanish speakers), Sports Creator of the Year to Team1Illusion’s No Seong‑yul, and Food Creator of the Year to Muk Sna (known for tray‑style mukbangs).

Social impact awards also featured: Social Impact Creator of the Year went to Gliant (for heartfelt content about loved ones), and Social Impact Artist of the Year went to Big Ocean, a deaf‑idol group promoting diversity.
The awards underscored TikTok’s growing role in supporting K‑culture and globalizing Korean entertainment. Composer awards, animation honors, and K‑pop performances widened the platform’s scope: The Songwriter of the Year was Daniel Kim (presented by KOMCA) and Entertainment Award went to Maggie Kang (director of the animation KPop Demon Hunters), who thanked TikTok fans for helping spread the film. K‑pop acts including IVE’s Rei (Best Trend Leader), boy‑group CORTIS (Global Rookie), Close Your Eyes (New Wave Artist), QWER (Best Popularity), KiiiKiii (New Rising Artist), MEOVV (Best Impact), and THE BOYZ (Best Performance) all performed or received honors, illustrating the platform’s synergy with global fandom culture.

TikTok Korea’s head, Jung Jae‑hoon, remarked, “For our second edition, we aimed to create a festival everyone could enjoy it’s great we succeeded. We view TikTok Awards as a motivation for the entire TikTok community. We will continue to make this platform a place of discovery and enjoyment for all.”
