On the morning of February 12, Go Ah Sung attended the production presentation for the Netflix movie Pavane at Megabox COEX in Seoul’s Gangnam District. Dressed in a blue shirt layered under a black silk dress, she completed a look that was both elegant and refined. The contrasting color combination, paired with minimal accessories, highlighted her naturally clear features while adding a modern sophistication.

What particularly drew attention was her sharper, more defined facial appearance. With a more pronounced double eyelid line and muted-toned makeup, Go projected a calm yet urban charm. Moving away from the youthful, girl-next-door image she was once known for, she exuded a cooler and more composed presence that captured the cameras’ flashes throughout the event. Her softly styled fringe added a delicate yet polished touch, balancing cuteness with maturity.
Pavane marks Go Ah Sung’s return to the big screen nearly two years after her 2024 film Because I Hate Korea, directed by Jang Kun Jae. In this new project, she reunites with director Lee Jong Pil, whom she previously collaborated with on the 2020 hit Samjin Company English Class. While their earlier work delivered a lighthearted office comedy, Pavane promises a more emotionally layered narrative, exploring the inner conflicts of young people standing at the crossroads of life and love.

The melodrama centers on individuals carrying different wounds and personal stories who gradually confront one another and learn to reconcile with their own emotions. Alongside Go Ah Sung, actors Byun Yo Han and Moon Sang Min co-star, raising anticipation for the intense emotional chemistry among the trio.
Directed by Lee Jong Pil and starring Go Ah Sung, Byun Yo Han, and Moon Sang Min, Pavane is set to premiere on Netflix on February 20.
