On the afternoon of August 20th, Girls’ Generation performed a spectacular show at “SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @HUMAN CITY_SUWON” held at Suwon World Cup Stadium.
It has been 5 years since Girls’ Generation performed at “SM Town Live” in Korea at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in 2017.
Hyo-yeon performed her solo performance after Tae-yeon that preceded the group’s performance stage. She then continued to perform on the stage with “GOT the beat” and presented a great performance to her fans. After that, she went on stage with her members in the group Girls’ Generation and sang their new comeback song “FOREVER 1.” By the end of the song, Hyo-yeon was already crying while dancing. She was spotted crying in the ending pose. When the song was over, Hyo-yeon began to cry much more. Tiffany went to get a tissue to wipe tears off the stage for Hyo-yeon, and the girl group’s youngest member Seo-hyun hugged Hyo-yeon and comforted her.
Meanwhile, the concert in Sunwon along with 30,000 audiences, featured SM artists such as Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, SHINee’s Key, Minho, EXO’s Suho, Xiumin, Chen, D.O., Kai, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa, GOT the beat, GINJO, and IMLAY.
