(G)I-DLE’s Minnie and Yuqi Halt Activities Due to Health Issues – Official Announcement 

On the morning of January 27, Cube Entertainment released a statement, stating that Minnie and Yuqi are facing a deterioration in their overall condition and will pause all schedules temporarily. 

The full statement is as below: 

“Hello. This is Cube Entertainment.

We would like to provide information regarding the health and future schedules of (G)I-DLE members Minnie and Yuqi.

On the 26th, Minnie and Yuqi visited the hospital due to sudden symptoms of fever and migraines, indicating a deterioration in their overall condition. Considering the diagnosis from medical professionals, we have decided to temporarily suspend all schedules before their comeback.

They are currently focusing on sufficient rest and treatment.

We sincerely apologize for causing concern to the fans who have been waiting for (G)I-DLE’s comeback. Future schedules will be carried out with the top priority of the artists’ health, and any changes in the schedule will be notified again.

We ask for the deep understanding of the fans once again. We will do our best for the recovery and health management of (G)I-DLE.

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE is gearing up for a comeback. The girl group will release their second full-length album, “[2]”, on January 29 at 6 PM (KST). Earlier on the 22nd, they released the pre-release track “Wife” from the album.
