(G)I-DLE Jeon So-yeon revealed red candy as the essential item for the performance of “TOMBOY”.

On MBC’s entertainment program “Radio Star”, which aired on the evening of May 4th, singers Psy, Sung Si-kyung, Jeon So-yeon, and Lee Seung-yoon appeared as guests for the “People of Performances” Special.

Jeon So-yeon drew attention as she told a secret behind the playful “tongue out” choreography of “TOMBOY”.

Mentioning the stage lightning with strong white light, Jeon So-yeon talked about the difficulties when performing the choreography, saying, “No matter how hard you brush your tongue with cleaner, it would still come out white on broadcasts”. Therefore, the female idol said (G)I-DLE used red candies to dye their tongues.

Jeon So-yeon made everyone laugh as she said, “10 minutes before coming on the stage, I dyed my tongues using red candies just like brushing my teeth. It made me feel more confident”. She honestly confessed, “On the days that I forgot to dye my tongue with candies, I stuck out my tongue only slightly”.
