On January 27th, Cube Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as Cube) announced, “The press conference to commemorate the release of (G)I-DLE’s second full-length album [2] scheduled for the 29th will inevitably be canceled due to the artists’ health reasons.”
Regarding the health and future schedules of (G)I-DLE members Minnie and Yuqi, Cube said, “We visited the hospital on the 26th due to the two’s bad conditions such as sudden fever symptoms and migraine complaints, and considered excessive schedule implementation before the comeback according to the medical staff’s diagnosis. We are suspending all schedules and focusing on giving them sufficient rest and treatment.”
Cube went on to say, “We sincerely apologize to the fans who have waited for (G)I-DLE’s comeback, and the planned schedule will be carried out in consideration of the artists’ health as the top priority, and we will announce the changing schedule again later.”
(G)I-DLE will release its second full-length album “2” (Two) at 6 p.m. on the 29th (KST). The new album has achieved 1.8 million pre-orders as of the 24th, heralding a second consecutive million-seller record. This is the second-highest pre-order record of á K-pop girl group.
