(G)I-DLE Soyeon revealed the behind story of when she made a “diss” rap about a director of her company
Soyeon talked about when she dissed the director of her company.
The broadcast of KBS 2 TV’s “Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook” aired on February 11th showed (G)I-DLE Soyeon, who is currently a judge on MBC’s show “My Teenage Girl”, talking about various things.
On this day, So-yeon recalled the time when she participated in Mnet’s show “Unpretty Rapstar”. So-yeon said, “I was a high school student back then. I joined ‘Unpretty Rapstar’ and there was a thing called ‘Diss Battle’ in the program”, adding, “My company knows my personality so well and that I don’t diss anyone. That’s why before I appeared on the show, my company’s Chairman told me, ‘Try dissing the director over here’”, drawing keen attention.
So-yeon then said, “I was asked to diss the person standing in front of me. I had no other choice but to do it”, adding, “I was honest. I said, “You’re really good to us, but in fact, we often talk behind your back”, making everyone surprised.
When asked about the director’s reaction to her “diss” rap, she said, “He just sat there and said, ‘Ha Ha Ha’”. Then Yoo Hee-yeol replied, “I think I know who that director is. In fact, he’s a really good person”, drawing laughter
