(G)I-DLE Shuhua donated 10 million won through the Ice Bucket Challenge.
On the morning of the 16th, Shuhua posted a message on her Instagram, starting with “Hello, this is (G)I-DLE. I have been nominated by member Soyeon to participate in the 2023 Ice Bucket Challenge. I am truly happy to be able to join this meaningful challenge.”
She continued, “We ask for your support and interest so that we can contribute greatly to the establishment of the first ALS care hospital in South Korea. I sincerely support the health and happiness of all ALS patients and their families. Thank you,” and she shared a donation certificate.
Previously, Soyeon had posted a video of her participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge on her Instagram on the 15th and nominated Shuhua, Woo Won-jae, and Shin Soo-bin.
Those who are nominated for the 2023 Ice Bucket Challenge must either overturn a bucket of ice water within 24 hours or donate 100,000 won for the establishment of an ALS care hospital.
Afterwards, they should post a video of themselves overturning the ice water and nominate the next three challengers on social media.
Through the Ice Bucket Challenge, Song Hye-kyo, Lee Do-hyun, Lee Young-ji, and others donated 10 million won.
