Genie Music Awards makes shocking announcement, “Voting fraud discovered for BLACKPINK and Psy”
Bad news broke out for BLACKPINK and Psy during the voting period of the Genie Music Awards (GMA).
The 2022 Genie Music Awards (GMA) announced on its official website on October 19th that fraudulent votes have been discovered in the “GMA Idol Plus Global Popularity Award” category.
GMA specified, “A large amount of illegal voting traffic has been continuously generated for BLACKPINK and Psy. The number of illegal votes was 1,627,041 for BLACKPINK and 306,908 for Psy. The number of fraudulent votes was canceled.”
GMA added, “We also carried out patch work to prevent fraudulent voting. We will continue to monitor so that fair voting can proceed in the future. Thank you for your attention.”
